We recently completed a full bathroom renovation at MacDonnell Rd, Margate, transforming an outdated and inefficient space into a modern, functional, and stylish bathroom. The owners decided to swap the locations of the shower and vanity, and this decision made a remarkable difference. By placing the shower where the vanity used to be, the new layout now allows natural light to flood into the shower area, creating a bright and airy atmosphere.

Key Features of the Renovation

• Optimized Layout: The new layout places the shower by the window, allowing natural light to enhance the space. The vanity has been moved to the previous shower location, creating a more open and functional layout.
• Tile Selection: We used elegant 600x600mm porcelain tiles in a beautiful grey tiles for both the floor and walls. These tiles not only add a touch of luxury but also provide durability and easy maintenance.
• Quality Finishes: For the trim, we used 10mm bright silver BAT trims, and for grout, we selected Mapei 112 mid grey, which complements the tile colors perfectly. The silicone sealant also matched the grout, ensuring a seamless and polished look.
• 3D Design Conceptualization: To ensure the project met the owners’ expectations, we started with a comprehensive 3D design. This allowed the owners to visualize the finished project, make any necessary adjustments before construction began, and ensured that the final result aligned perfectly with their vision.
